A finals de la setmana passada vam rebre una trucada de l’empresa EUREST en relació a l’acomiadament d’un company del nostre sindicat: accedien a les nostres reivindicacions. El dilluns d’aquesta mateixa setmana es va signar l’acord que satisfeia totes les nostres reivindicacions: readmissió a l’empresa, salaris de tràmit, horaris i centre de treball a elecció del treballador.
El nostre company havia estat acomiadat en un cas de repressió sindical. Posteriorment a l’acomiadament el nostre sindicat va començar la pressió a l’empresa, que ràpidament va donar un resultat: oferiment per part d’aquesta d’una readmissió complint totes les reivindicacions que fèiem. Tot i així, arribat el moment de signar l’acord l’empresa es va fer enrere, al·ludint a un error en referència al centre de treball que s’oferia. Aquest fet ens va caure com a gerro d’aigua freda i vam procedir a reprendre la pressió sindical llançant un ultimàtum a l’empresa: o cedia o declararíem conflicte sindical obert, amb tot el que això suposa. I van cedir.
Sens dubte, l’actitut de la secció sindidal a Eurest Col·lectivitat és la reponsable en gran part d’haver aconseguit aquest acord. Aquesta secció, que opera gairebé íntegrament al menjador social del barri de Navas, porta diversos mesos de pols amb l’empresa i ha aconseguit millores importants per a totes les treballadores/ors del seu centre. Aquesta activitat va viure el seu moment més tens quan l’empresa va acomiadar a una companya de la secció i, després de diverses setmanes d’accions, no va tenir més remei que readmetre-la. És també evident que la contundència mostrada per la CNT-AIT en aquell moment ha contribuït al fet que aquesta empresa recapaciti i no s’arrisqui a carregar amb un conflicte amb el nostre sindicat.
La readmissió del nostre company és un exemple més que els treballadors i treballadores podem plantar cara i guanyar a multinacionals com Eurest. La via de l’acció directa no només segueix sent vàlida, sinó que és l’única garantia que ens queda per defensar-nos en un món en el qual els anomenats «drets laborals» són cada vegada més ridículs. Som conscients que no podem abandonar totalment la defensa jurídica, però estem convençudes/uts que perfeccionant la nostra pressió al marge d’aquesta via aconseguirem un sindicalisme cada vegada més independent, en el qual els conflictes es decideixin per la força de les/els treballadores/ors i no tant per les decisions capritxoses d’un jutge o per la curtesa de mires de la legislació laboral.
