Hacemos un llamamiento a redoblar esfuerzos en todo el Estado contra la empresa EL CORTE INGLÉS, de cara a su campaña de ventas navideñas. ¿Ellos no ceden? ¡Nosotras/os no paramos!
Desde que se inició el conflicto contra EL CORTE INGLÉS por su participación en el proceso penal contra dos huelguistas, la solidaridad desde diferentes parte del Estado se ha hecho notar. Se vienen realizando acciones continuadas en más de 20 ciudades y la imagen de la empresa se está viendo dañada. Eventos como el «black friday» fueron saboteados en numerosos lugares y sabemos de buena fe que se ha generado un daño económico importante. Además, trabajadores/as de centros de EL CORTE INGLÉS de varias ciudades ya se han puesto en contacto con nuestro sindicato para apoyar y difundir el conflicto, así como para extender el mismo más allá de la retirada de la responsabilidad civil. Y es que las condiciones de trabajo en estos centros rozan el esclavismo.
Al comienzo de la campaña de boicot le trasladamos a la empresa la siguiente reflexión: o renunciáis a la responsabilidad civil y os retiráis definitivamente del proceso penal, o la campaña que realizaremos en vuestra contra os saldrá muchísimo más cara que los 8500 euros que exigís a los huelguistas. Y así ha sido.
Durante los últimos días hemos estado intentando agilizar las conversaciones con la empresa, llegando a reunirnos con los responsables jurídicos de EL CORTE INGLÉS en Catalunya. Nos han trasladado su inquietud por el daño que se les esta causando. Por nuestra parte se lo dejamos bien claro: la campaña no cesará hasta la retirada de la responsabilidad civil. Tienen mucho que perder: navidades, rebajas… El calendario nos brinda un largo periodo de eventos comerciales y la posibilidad de ejercer mucha presión. Y no lo desaprovecharemos.
Pese a todo, la decisión de la empresa sigue siendo la misma: no renunciar al cobro ni al castigo a los huelguistas. Prefieren perder dinero y que su imagen se resienta a ceder a nuestra sencilla reivindicación. Para ellos es una cuestión más allá de lo económico, es parte de su idiosincrasia política, vinculada a la extrema derecha y al capitalismo más salvaje, como bien lo prueban las conexiones falangistas de su director general.
Llegados a este punto la lucha contra EL CORTE INGLÉS cobra una importancia especial. Esta empresa se ha convertido en un símbolo de la explotación laboral, el acoso y maltrato a las mujeres, la represión a las luchas de los trabajadores, la conexión con las élites gobernantes… Su actitud en este y otros conflictos evidencian que, además, son conscientes de su papel y lo van a defender hasta el final. Por ello la lucha contra EL CORTE INGLÉS es una lucha de todas/os, y no es otra que la lucha de clases.
Por todo lo expuesto hacemos un nuevo llamamiento a extender el boicot y el sabotaje contra EL CORTE INGLÉS a todos aquellos grupos, asambleas, sindicatos e individualidades que se sientan afines a nuestra causa. Que cada cual elija los medios, nos sobran ideas e iniciativas, pero que el fin común de todas ellas sea maximizar la presión y el daño a los responsables de la represión, el miedo, la explotación y el maltrato a trabajadoras y trabajadores.
Que se extienda el boicot. Que se corra la voz!
